Monday

2 Man A

Male or female, 

Open players welcome

·      Full AVP rules apply.  Short lines.  Let serves.

·      We will consider separate male & female leagues as interest increases.

Tuesday

2 Man

2 Person

Co-ed

·      1 Man, 1 Woman teams.  You must be at least a B+ player.

·      Full AVP rules apply. Short lines.  Let serves.

C

4 Person,

Coed,

1 girl min.,

Max. 1 B- male

 & 1 B- female

(These B- players should act as coaches)

·      Beginner’s level.

·      Players should work on their individual skills.  (bumping the ball, serving underhanded)

·      Players should educate themselves to learn legal hits in preparation of moving to the B- league. 

·      You cannot receive serves open handed.  Ball may not be hit with the palm of your hands.  No carries.  No overhand serves, No jump serves, No spikes.  The ‘Girl Rule’ doesn’t apply.

·      Each team is encouraged to have at least 1 ‘B-‘ player to act as a coach.

·      Each team/player is encouraged to take a V-Ball clinic.

·      League winners may register the same winning team the following league only.  After that, no more than 2 players who have won in this bracket during 2008 may be on the same team for the remainder of 2008.

Wednesday

B -

Max 1 B+ player

·      The B- league is where each player should be working on his team skills.  At this point teams should begin bumping the ball to each other and playing with 3 hits per side.  Players should begin learning to overhand serve.

·      B- players should be able to consistently serve underhanded & bump the ball.

·      Players should call their illegal hits and return the ball the opposing team.   The other team may call illegal hits on their opponents.

·      You cannot receive serves open handed.  No carries.  Ball may not be hit with the palm of your hands.  No jump serves.  ‘Girl Rule’ applies.

·      Everyone should be learning legal hits & 3 hits per side (bump, set, hit).

·      Each team in encouraged to take a V-Ball clinic.

·      Your B+ player should be only capable of spiking < 50% of the time. 

·      League winners may register the same winning team the following league only.  After that, no more than 2 players who have won in this bracket during 2008 may be on the same team for the remainder of 2008.

·      Any player who can spike or hit > 50% of the time is considered an ‘A’ player at Juana’s.

·      You cannot receive serves open handed.   No jump serves.  No carries.   Ball may not be hit with the palm of your hands.

·      League winners may register the same winning team the following league only.  After that, no more than 2 players who have won in this bracket during 2008 may be on the same team for the remainder of 2008.

A

·      A player who can spike or hit > 50% of the time is considered an ‘A’ player at Juana’s.

·      No girl rule.  No girl requirement.
